Mahindra XUV 3XO – Full luxury features SUV comes with budget price

Mahindra XUV 3XO : Mahindra has made a statement by re-inventing the compact SUV segment by introducing the all new XUV 3XO.

Underpinned by the popular XUV300, this new version doesn’t just wear an up-to-date wardrobe and come with a buffet spread of premium features, but additionally offers a range of potent engine options at a price point that should still be within reach of the cost-conscious buyer.

With the new range, Mahindra hopes to provide a luxury vehicle at a non luxury price, that they believe will be a great option for Indian families looking for a combination of value, technology, and comfort bundled in a smart package with the XUV 3OO.

Bold and Impressive New Design

The first thing that grabs attention on the Mahindra XUV 3XO is its stance. The revised front-end features a new, wider grille with gloss black and chrome inserts that enhance its strong road presence.

Adding to that distinctiveness are the LED headlamps with sequential turn signals and sleek LED DRLs. The bumper is chiselled with sharp lines which makes the SUV look wider and more aggressive.

The all-around wheel arches get a touch of sportiness and muscle thanks to the new alloy wheel design, roof rails and cladding on the sides.

The rear features connected LED tail lamp design to create a futuristic appeal, strong shoulder lines and a floating roof effect to reinforce a premium visual identity.

Although small the XUV 3XO does manage to looks like larger, more expensive car.

Beautiful Interior Complimented by Modern Technology

Slide inside, and the cabin of the XUV 3XO seems more like a rich SUV than a compact one. The Mahindra has obviously aimed at providing a luxury-like feel.

The dashboard is all new, with soft-touch surfaces and leatherette upholstery, and there’s a twin-screen cockpit with a big infotainment display and a digital instrument cluster.

The ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof (a first-in-segment), dual-zone climate control, wireless charging and ventilated front seats add to the comfortable experience.

The center console is a tidily organized place to be, and there’s evident attention to detail in material choices and layout.

There are dedicated AC vents and plenty of leg room offered on the rear seats as well, so you can use it as a family car too.

Potent Engines and Pleasant Drivability

The XUV 3XO comes with range of power sources, including 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engines in standard and direct injection (TGDi) versions.

The former, for example, generates best-in-class power and torque values, ensuring a powerful and energetic driving experience. For the more torquey and thrifty the reliable 1.5-litre diesel engine by Mahindra.

Transmission: The choice of manual and automatic (AMT and 6-speed torque converter) gearboxes provide the buyer the choice based on their driving preference.

The ride quality is well damped and the suspension feels at ease with the Indian road conditions.

It is easy to drive in the city or highway, being sure-footed and stable with a well-sorted chassis and a linear power delivery.

Smart Technology and Safety

Where the XUV 3OO really shines, though, is when it comes down to technology. Infotainment is handled by Mahindra’s Adrenox connected car suite, which includes built-in navigation, voice commands, vehicle diagnostics and smartphone-based remote control abilities.

The tech experience feels truly up-to-date with a 360-degree camera, blind view monitor, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and over-the-air updates.

On the safety front, Mahindra has provided the SUV with six airbags (top-spec), ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and ISOFIX mounts.

A robust build and safety kit also ensure that the XUV 3XO is one of the safest cars in its segment.

Mahindra XUV 3XO

Pros and Cons

The Mahindra XUV 3XXO is offer loaded compared to how it feels in a higher segment.

It has a nicer interior, more available engine options, great safety gear and driving dynamics that can keep up with the best — all at a price that won’t break the bank.

The panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and connected features are rare things at this price point. But, a couple of the premium features could be skipped on some entry-level variants.

The boot space of the back seat is slightly compromised by the small dimensions and although the diesel is economical it could well be offered in the higher trims only.

Mahindra XUV 3XO Conclusion

Well, with the XUV 3O, Mahindra seems to have completely stretched the definition of compact, for it doesn’t get as classy as this and that too with a Compact SUV.

It defies the idea that when it comes to premium comfort, you’ve got to break the bank.

With a modern design, superior performance, a feature rich cabin and a high emphasis on safety, the XUV 3OO is poised to be a popular choice amongst young buyers and families.

The new Mahindra offering ticks almost every box for those wanting a well-sorted, good-value SUV in 2025.
