Mahindra BE6 : Mahindra BE6 It’s official! Mahindra has finally arrived in the age of electric mobility with the BE6 bold and futuristic born electric SUV.
This new vehicle is more than just your average EV – it’s a blend of design ingenuity, sophisticated tech, and a driving experience based on aviation.
Featuring striking good looks, a futuristic cabin and some remarkable electric range, the BE6 is as sure to turn heads as it is to worry its rivals.
With EVs becoming more prevalent on Indian roads, Mahindra is looking to differentiate itself by not simply providing an alternative electric car, but by shaping an emotional, high-tech driving experience.
The BE6 is exactly what they have in mind for their “next 10 years,” a device that looks like it belongs sometime in the next decade, but isn’t that far away at all.
Conventional Design, Reimagined in Airplane Styles
The BE6 is a departure from the conventional SUV shape. Its fastback-style roofline, flush door handles, full-width LED lights and crisp surface lines are all foils for what is essentially a coupe-like profile.
The front and rear light bars run the width of the car, lending it a futuristic appearance — almost that of a concept car that’s come to life.
And it’s not just for show — the aerodynamic body, active air intakes, and precision-cut alloy wheels are designed to decrease drag and increase efficiency.
It’s a bold, wide, low-slung stance, but it’s allowed to look premium and sporty without losing presence on the road.
Cabin Right Out of a Flight Deck
Get inside the BE6 and it really does feel like you’re sitting in the interior of a luxurious plane.
The dash is plain but extremely modern, with a curved display stack that synthesises the digital instrument cluster and infotainment into one panoramic screen.
It has a squarish, airplane-style steering wheel with touch-sensitive controls.
Ambient lighting surrounds the cabin, airplane-style toggle switches stand in to make quicker work of any operation and a floating center console enhances the sci-fi atmosphere.
Even the seats are aviation-inspired in design — heavily bolstered, slim, and ventilated in either premium cloth or leather.
Equally impressive is the panoramic sunroof, which amplifies the cabin’s airy, high-end ambiance.
Dhakad electric bankelal range and performance
This new electric SUV will be based on Mahindra’s INGLO platform and is claimed to just 450-500 km on a full charge, depending on the battery option.
That’s plenty for a long road trip, or daily use with minimal charging anxiety. The platform is ultra-fast charge capable, with a 0- to 80-percent top-up achievable in less than 30 minutes via a DC fast charge.
Acceleration is projected to be seamless and sudden, thanks to the instant torque of the electric motor.
Official figures are yet to be released but reports are: 0–100 km/h in less than 6 seconds for the range-topping version.
The rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive option could also be provided for varied interest of people by Mahindra.
Tech That Matches the Design
Mahindra has packed the BE6 with top-end features such as ADAS Level 2, 360- degree camera, connected car tech, augmented reality navigation, and even driver monitoring systems.
Voice assista nts.MAX OTA and a WI-Fi connectivity are standard, while the rirsound system heightens the cabin experience.
The BE6 could not be more modern, from the smart key to the individualized drive modes and digital cockpit atmosphere. It’s a fully active and connected vehicle, designed for modern cities and off-road adventures.
